Unmathoms from the Time Closet

He is in his time-machine -
Pulling levers, twisting dials,
Testing digits, checking trials.
Will today he make his dream?

His journey now begins -
Setting year, fixing date,
Choosing time, finding place.
Does the future call to him?

But he goes to a time still far away -
The morning after Judgement Day :
And Christ has left his judgment seat,
As all now know the fate they meet.

So what happens to the time traveller next????
