Prediction:

Communist Party and Vladimir Zherinofsky win primary elections

Objective measurement:

Russian Election Results, this June.

When:

1996

Why:

Yeltzin does not have the confidence of the people. The russian people consider democracy to have failed. Yeltzin poor health. Nostradamus predicted that Russia will become worse than before.

Further comments:

I believe Vladimir Zherinofsky will win (but still possible the Communist Party). But, under these conditions the russians will return to a communist country.

Russia alive 1996 presidential election pages states the following:

Incumbent Boris Yeltsin won the July 3 runoff round of the 1996 Russian presidential election, beating Communist-nationalist challenger Gennady Zyuganov by approximately 13 percentage points. The runoff was held because no candidate received more that 50% of the vote in the first round election held on June 16. Yeltsin and Zyuganov were the top vote-getters in that round, receiving 35% and 32%, respectively. The third place finisher, Aleksandr Lebed with 15% of the vote, joined Yeltsin's government as head of Russian security affairs on June 18.
