Prediction:

Major disaster in a predominantly French-speaking country.

Objective measurement:

More than $US100 million worth of damage.

When:

Before June 28

Why:

June 26, 1996 12:35 a.m. went to bed and when I closed my eyes I thought I was going to spin out of bed after a rush of nausea came me. Then while I had my eyes closed I could hear someone speaking French while they packed a bag of food like it was urgent. I still feel whoozie at 12:54 a.m. Feels like another big one (earthquake or something real big). I hope I'm wrong!

Further comments:

My usual earth moving dizzies. This time with nausea. Worried me.

I didn't hear of any, but I don't follow French news very much. I received the following anonymous comment, (I'd be happier if someone could support it "namefully":

IT DID HAPPEN!! In Quebec, a french speaking province of Canada (Right now there trying to become independent) There were terrible flash flooding causing many people to get injured and/or die. The damages went up to US $ 156,000,000.! Wow she was right on the money!Savageland added: There was never any flooding in Quebec - I live in Ontario, and I can personally guarantee it. The last bad thing that happened in Quebec, next to the Parti Quebecois taking power, was the ice storms... that didn't happen in June! http://www.drie.org/disasters.html"> has a list of disasters in canada - the only one on June 28 happened in Alberta... not to French-speaking people.

There was a G7 conference in France on June 28, 1996 - maybe something will stem from that and cause disaster? I dunno...
