Prediction:
Increase in volcanic activity in the "Ring of Fire" area
Objective measurement:
Total damage (as assessed by insurance figures) attributed to volcanic activity in California, South America, Alaska, Japan, China and Hawaii will be 10% greater between the years of 1996 through 2000, than it was from 1991-1995.
